On the Grapevine ALL SAINTS DAY
Happy All Saints Day!!!!!! Sorry for the delay on this one - computer troubles!
This one is made up - the saints are celebrating mass with us. The priests and Deacon Lawrence are co-celebrating Mass. Saints Catherine, Cecilia, Gemma and Faustina are singing in the choir. Bernadette and Therese are strewing rose petals - Bernadette's are the yellow ones. Aloysius Gonzaga, Stephen of Hungary, Wenceslaus, Gabriel Possenti, Thomas More and Francis are kneeling on the floor between the aisles. Joan of Arc and Geneieve are arming somebody with the spiritual armor of God. And Christina the Astonishing, Teresa of Avila, and Joseph of Cupertino (our levitators) are interceding for us. I only put in the canonized saints from our On The Grapevine comic... it saved on work and space. The first two times I drew and colored in this webcomic, I did it with a program, and it disappeared. Finally, on Saturday, I drew and colored it in by hand in the morning, scanned it in during the afternoon, cleaned it up in the evening and posted it at night - in between my regular duties. So it's a bit rough but it's the best I could do.

Almighty and Everlasting God,
who dost enkindle the flame of Thy love in the hearts of the saints,
grant unto us the same faith and power of love;
that, as we rejoice in their triumphs
we may profit by their examples, through Jesus Christ our Lord.
